Mural Project Preview

Shoes; Many say shoes take you to places, me being a shoe-holic I think that different shoes people have expresses who you are and why your comfortable in. It also gives you a feeling of new fashion and gives people up to date on what to wear these days. Fashion always change now the 60's fashion are in and so are effortless looking shoes like toms or vans that smells teens! I would rather have a more  high tech camera when walking around taking pics because they are all so clear and details are a must. The disadvantages in a SLR camera is that I can't take any weird angles like I would with IPhone. For my theme I would rather want a SLR because I just need it to be clear and the viewers be able to see the designs and details and I don't have to be in a weird pose or position all I have to do is look down.

Africa Black and White

The pictures were amazing they really made it simple but it was enough to make me go awe. The picture was so zoomed in and clear, all the details on the wild-life animals. They were all amazing but the one that I thought was so adorable is the one where a lion and lioness were head to head and it kinda reminded me of Lion King

The picture shows the rules simplicity and framing because lions are right in the middle of the picture and it shows simplicity because there isn't anything that will avert the eyes of viewers. 

The photographer did not use a telephoto but used a Pentax 67II. His goals while taking the picture was to record wild animals and locations before they were destroyed by the hands of man. I think he hoped for people to see these pictures and wanting people to find out more about it and want to preserve them before they go extinct. 

 "You wouldn't take a portrait of a human being from a hundred feet away and expect to capture their spirit; you'd move in close."

    The challenges that I faced were pretty hard for me since I had to ask some teachers I didn't know permission to take the pictures and since it was a working environment I couldn't really ask for their attention or I had to be the one to capture all the moving people so it shows the photo composition. Some became really blurry so I had to press the button or take it seconds before they did the action and the fact that some of them had been posing for simplicity or balance but seconds later they move.

   I think since it was already on auto focus it was easier to take picture in the distance and I was pretty good at getting down so it was positioned right. There was definitely more bad

I think that since rockets are parallel from each other and are pointed to the same direction it really shows the viewers what the photo is about, and since the background is simple everyone should be more focused on how they are positioned. 

 Avoiding Mergers

This is what NOT to do because as you can see the model in the photo is wearing all black and so is the  jacket and since the colors collided with each other you can't see the jacket or if someone were to look at it from far you wouldn't be able to see it clearly.

 Rules Of Thirds

In my head I saw a grid and to me it seems the guy (subject) is right on the 2nd line. The background is a pretty boring so the viewer won't be focused on it

 Framing 

The model is right in the middle of the board making him the subject and the board around him looking like a frame. 

Balance 

The models are right in the middle of the picture and it seems that the surrounding objects make it even more so.

Fills the Frame 

The students holding hands forming a circle taking a moment of silence and its beautiful how they fill the frame.

The Action 

The experiment that they are doing makes a beautiful cloud like thing and the things they are doing seem dangerous enough to wear a head gear.

The Story 

The story shows the fact what happens when a experiment goes wrong and the expression of the girls shows the viewer how they feel.
